While I am a new face to real estate in Lafayette, Indiana, my experience speaks for itself.  I graduated from Purdue University with highest distinction in 2003 in Communication (GO BOILERS!).  I was a member of Women In Communication and participated in Purdue's American Advertising Federation during my time there.  My junior year I was recognized for my achievements and initiated into the honor society Phi Beta Kappa and was named an Outstanding Senior in Communication the following year.

When I graduated in 2003, I pursued a career in management, which allowed me the opportunity to manage over 70 employees and fine-tune my organizational and authoritative skills.  In the process, I have met so many great people in Lafayette and surrounding areas, and I am proud to be a member of this community.  I look forward to getting to know many more of you, while helping you buy and sell your dream homes.

Selling your home can be an overwhelming time, along with finding a home to purchase.  What are the most important qualities one should look for in a real estate agent?

Commitment: Which agent is going to see your sale or purchase through from start to finish?  Not only will my patience and obligation assist in your transaction, but I am committed to finding you the best deal.  A home that fits your needs and wants, that is within the price range you are looking, and makes you feel confident and thrilled in your decision.  When selling, I pledge to make the most profit for you, and in the time frame you are hoping for.  It is this commitment that I promise you as your agent.

Knowledge: It makes sense to have an agent that is knowledgeable in buying and selling in the Lafayette area.  Although I am somewhat new to the field, my studying of the local area, working with various experienced brokers, and passion to know all facets of the business make me a top competitor in this arena.  I will find a prompt and thorough answer to anything that I do not have full knowledge of, if the situation arises.  While I cannot compete with the experience of several Lafayette agents, I feel that in other areas of great importance, I excel.  I am a member of the local and National Board of Realtors, and I have completed the training necessary to service my clients to the fullest.

Honesty: "Whatever games are played with us, we must play no games with ourselves, but deal in our privacy with the last honesty and truth." Ralph Waldo Emerson.  As my client, you can know that my reputation of strong morals and honesty will work to your advantage.  Unless I am representing my buyer or seller with 100 percent honest and open communication, I am not representing.  Clients who have worked with me have commented that they feel comfortable knowing that I am on their side of the table.

Caring: Simply representing my clients in the sale or purchase of a home is not enough.  The needs of each individual are unique, and I strive to meet each of those needs.  Some buyers are in the early stages, and need advice and guidance, while others have a better idea of what they are looking for.  I am here to give as much or as little assistance depending on what my client wants.  As a first time homebuyer three years ago, I understand the anxiety that can sometimes surface.  It is my job to answer any questions, respond to possible worries and help make the big decisions easier on you.  I truly care about my clients, and I am not happy unless they feel perfectly content and excited about their purchase or sale.

To sum up my qualities as a Realtor, and most importantly a person, I have the commitment to get the job done, and in the most profitable way for my clients; I am knowledgeable in the field; I have the honesty and morals to do the job right; and I care a tremendous amount about the people I work with.  A friend and colleague recently told me that Lafayette would benefit greatly by having me in the real estate profession.  What a compliment!  I hope to prove her right!  I look forward to getting to know many more faces in Lafayette and Tippecanoe County.
